I’m delighted to introduce the first of our new range of outdoor furniture – starting with the Thermovent Outdoor Fire pit. With over 50 years expertise in open fires and working metal by hand this is a very natural step for us. We still feel in very familiar territory – we just have more freedom to create great pieces for more customers. Its taken 3 years to get here but I hope you like what you see and maybe even you or someone you know may want one!
Ultra-Low Smoke
No more shifting your chairs around to avoid the smoke. The advanced forced airflow design and secondary burn capabilities of the Thermovent significantly minimises smoke output, keeping the space around you comfortable.
A Roaring Fire
Over sized primary air, plus forced secondary air supply constantly maximises the flames, creating a “furnace” effect that significantly boosts the height of the flames to keep you warm. You’ll see the difference. Convected hot air channels under the top plate pushes warm air sideways to keep your hands toasty.
Safety features built in.
Double-cavity design reduces external side temperatures by around 75%, meaning the sides of the fire never over-heat, leaving them safe to touch, and protecting your legs and your pets when in use.

More Heat: Oversize primary air is delivered to the base of the burning wood – turbo-charging the fire. Pre-heated secondary air is delivered higher up the fire further boosting the flames high above the rim of the pit delivering much more heat. You’ll see and feel the difference.
Gaps under the top plate maximise the use of the fires heat to allow warm air to be vented around its edges to keep your hands cozy.
Low or No smoke: This high combustion air design maximises the burn efficiency in the heart of the fire and the flames delivering low or no smoke performance for your comfort.
Safety: The deep fire pit means no risk of rolling logs or spitting embers.
Triple-walled construction reduces up to 75% of the heat in the body of the fire pit, making the outer walls safe to touch.
Easy use
The super-efficient design of the fire chamber means you can get a roaring fire with just 3-4 split logs.
To clean the fire pit, the lower air vent doubles as a quick and easy gap to sweep out the ash. No scooping required!
The modular design means it’s easy to disassemble the fire pit to move it to a new location or into storage.
With the copper and brass outer panelling options, the heat and weather will gradually create natural shades and patterns on the outer metal, giving an organic, ever-changing patina over time.

Our original Thermovent open fire was for indoor use. After several years of design, development & testing we are now offering the Thermovent outdoor fire pit. It combines the best elements of a mesmerising fire with the convenience of reduced smoke & high heat plus safety and portability. Each fire pit is brought together by hand by our talented workshop craftspeople to create a unique feature for your outdoor space.

Camelot Thermovent Fire Pits are assembled to order, each one carefully quality checked and packed for you. This means delivery isn’t next day – but not too long.
Ready to buy? Here’s how it works:
- Use our online store to configure your fire pit options and pay.
- You will receive an email confirming we have received your order, confirming your design options and the lead time for delivery (usually between 2-4 weeks).
- You will then receive a phone call to confirm all details and discuss arrangements for delivery. Your fire pit will arrive in a large box on a pallet delivered outside your property. It’s a pallet delivery service – not courier – so a little preparation by you will be required to receive it.
- We’ll call again to confirm you’ve received your order in good condition and have got it working.
